Massive road modernization program launched across 24 provinces

Marking the 72nd anniversary of the Revolution, a national program comprising 95 road projects has been implemented across 24 provinces, covering a total length of 853 km. The sector has successfully commissioned 56 projects spanning 464.5 km while initiating 39 new construction sites covering 389 km. Works include the expansion and maintenance of national and wilaya roads, the modernization of tunnels in Bejaia, and the stabilization of soil in Bouira. These operations are designed to improve traffic safety, modernize national infrastructure, and support local socio-economic development by facilitating citizen mobility.
