The Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises has announced that Algiers will host the 5th African Startup Conference (ASC 2026) from December 5 to 7, 2026. Held under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the event will take place at the International Conference Center (CIC) under the theme "DEEPTECH: The Real Challenge." The conference aims to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to discuss the future of technological development across the continent. The event is expected to attract over 25,000 attendees, 40 ministerial delegations, and 150 investors. For the first time, the program will feature the African Tech Startup Award, which will honor three winners from hundreds of applicants.
