Algeria and Netherlands hold talks to deepen bilateral cooperation
Minister of State and Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf held discussions this Monday with the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Caspar Veldkamp, who is on a two-day working visit to Algeria. The meeting aimed to revitalize ties between the two nations, which date back over four centuries. Both sides agreed on taking concrete steps to boost bilateral cooperation, including activating the joint committee for economic and technological collaboration and updating the legal framework for their relations. Priority areas for partnership were highlighted, such as energy, renewable sources, water resources, and agribusiness. The ministers also exchanged views on consular matters, migration issues, and current regional and international developments of mutual interest.
