The 2026 edition of the 'Fruit Attraction' international fruit and vegetable exhibition in Madrid concluded this Thursday, following a three-day run from October 6 to 8. Represented by 10 economic operators under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Algeria's presence resulted in significant commercial outcomes. With the attendance of the Algerian Ambassador to Spain, eight memorandums of understanding were signed to facilitate agricultural exports to European markets. Furthermore, a contract worth nearly 3 million dollars was finalized for the export of plastic packaging to Germany. This event provided Algerian companies a platform to promote their production capabilities and explore global trends in logistics, cold storage, and smart agriculture.
