Algerian international Mehdi Dorval has ended a 14-month goal drought by scoring for Catanzaro during their 1-1 draw against Padova in the 10th round of Italy's Serie B. Dorval found the net in the 28th minute, marking his first goal since August 24, 2025, when he scored for Bari against Venezia. Although the goal provides a boost for his season, the defender expressed disappointment at not securing a win.
