Algiers: Criminal network dismantled for 92 billion DA tax fraud
Central authorities for fighting organized crime in Algiers have dismantled a criminal network specialized in forgery, money laundering, and tax evasion. The syndicate utilized over 400 fake commercial registries to conduct simulated trade operations and move funds outside legal channels. The operation resulted in 25 arrests and the seizure of vehicles, stamps, and forged documents, alongside the recovery of 230 million DA in criminal assets. These illegal activities caused a loss of 92 billion DA to the national treasury. The suspects have been brought before the prosecutor at the Algiers economic and financial criminal pole.
