The Algerian national wrestling team (seniors) has traveled to Astana, Kazakhstan, to conduct a training camp from October 10 to 23. This preparatory period is designed to improve the physical and technical readiness of the wrestlers ahead of the World Championships, which will take place from October 24 to November 1, 2026. The training sessions are hosted at the International Wrestling Academy at the Sports University in Astana. The Algerian delegation includes athletes competing in Greco-Roman, freestyle, and women’s wrestling, all overseen by their respective coaches. Through this program, the team aims to reach peak performance levels to ensure a successful representation on the international stage.
