The Spanish Consulate General in Algiers has announced a temporary suspension of in-person public services until November 2nd. The diplomatic mission stated that this measure is necessary due to ongoing maintenance work at the consular premises. Individuals with appointments during this timeframe will be contacted directly to reschedule their visits as soon as possible. The consulate clarified that visa applicants scheduled through the BLS service center are unaffected by this closure and should proceed with their appointments as planned. Furthermore, a dedicated emergency telephone line (06 61 21 12 21) has been provided to handle urgent matters, while the consulate's emergency service will continue to operate around the clock.
