The National Teams Training and Gathering Center in Aghrib, located northeast of Tizi-Ouzou, is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2027. Local Youth and Sports Director, Aziz Tahir, confirmed that the project is nearing completion, with administrative buildings finished and sports and recovery facilities in the final stages. Work on external infrastructure, including drainage and lighting, is ongoing. Construction of the accommodation and dining block, which will house 200 people, was assigned to a new contractor last week with a timeline of 12 to 14 months. Spanning 33 hectares, this elite sports complex features artificial turf fields and training halls, serving as a significant addition to the local sports landscape alongside the Hocine-Ait-Ahmed stadium.
