Annaba hosts 300 experts for the 4th Medical Immunology Training Day

Approximately 300 medical specialists gathered in Annaba this Saturday for the 4th Continuous Medical Training Day, centered on recent updates in inflammation. The event was organized by the Annaba Society of Medical and Clinical Immunology in collaboration with the local university hospital and featured experts from Algeria, France, and Japan.

Professor Hassan Meriche, the society's president, explained that inflammation was selected as the focal point because it is a key factor in various conditions, including autoimmune diseases and allergies. The seminar provided a platform for professionals in internal medicine, surgery, and pediatrics to discuss modern diagnostic tools and treatment protocols.

A key presentation by Professor Ali Lounissi highlighted the correlation between obesity, diabetes, and inflammation, stressing that healthy lifestyle habits are crucial for preventing chronic complications. The event included specialized workshops on laboratory diagnostic techniques, aiming to keep medical practitioners updated with the latest scientific developments in the field of immunology.
