Jijel Wali, Ahmed Maghlati, held a coordination meeting with representatives from various ministries to discuss the development of the banana industry in the region. The meeting focused on identifying suitable agricultural lands to contribute to a national banana production program. Recent field assessments in Taher, Chekfa, and Kaous highlighted the high quality of the local crop, even when grown in basic greenhouses. Agricultural services are now recommending the adoption of multi-span greenhouse technology to improve environmental conditions and boost overall yields.
