Kamel Nouicer appointed as the new Wali of Tlemcen

Minister of State and Minister of the Interior, Brahim Merad, oversaw the official inauguration of Kamel Nouicer as the new Wali of Tlemcen. This appointment follows the transfer of the former Wali, Youcef Bechlaoui, to the wilaya of Batna, as part of a partial reshuffle of walis directed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. During the ceremony, the Minister emphasized the importance of field presence and local development, urging the new official to focus on improving residents' living conditions and ensuring the timely completion of ongoing projects. He called for an efficient, transparent governance style that prioritizes citizen concerns and reduces bureaucracy.
