Constantine: INATTA students explore innovation at the 'Agrest Expo' international fair

The 5th edition of the 'Agrest Expo' international exhibition for agriculture, food processing, and packaging is currently taking place at the Zenith Ahmed-Bey esplanade in Constantine, running from October 28 to 31. Featuring 130 national and international exhibitors, the fair has seen a significant turnout from students of the Institute of Nutrition, Food and Agri-Food Technologies (INATTA). The visit provided students with a firsthand look at modern agricultural practices, livestock management, and sophisticated packaging technologies. Institute Director Halima Boughallout noted that the event helps bridge the gap between academic theory and industry demands, encouraging students to explore innovative projects and startup opportunities. Participants highlighted that the interaction with industry experts helped them gain practical insights into food safety, quality standards, and modern manufacturing processes.
