Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sofiane Chaib, held a meeting on Thursday with the Palestinian ambassador to Algeria, Fayez Abu Aita. During the session, the two parties highlighted the enduring fraternal ties between their countries. The Algerian side reiterated its principled stance in support of the Palestinian people's struggle for their legitimate rights. Ambassador Abu Aita provided an update on the ongoing crisis in the occupied territories and the severe humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip. He also extended his appreciation for Algeria's consistent advocacy for the Palestinian cause within various international forums.
