The public group Saidal announced the shipment of its first batch of medications to the Republic of Djibouti on Wednesday. The order covers various therapeutic categories, including antibiotics, painkillers, and treatments for diabetes and heart conditions. This initiative aligns with the national strategy to diversify non-hydrocarbon exports and bolster the position of Algerian pharmaceuticals within the African market. Saidal's CEO, Younes Bouarara, noted that several other African nations, such as Mauritania, Tanzania, and Benin, have expressed significant interest in Algerian-made medical products.
