The judicial police in Boumerdès have successfully dismantled a criminal gang specializing in residential burglaries. Authorities seized over 1.5 billion centimes, along with foreign currency, precious metals, a motorcycle, and a vehicle. Meanwhile, in Constantine, the search and intervention brigade broke up a three-member network, including a woman, trafficking psychotropic substances. The raid led to the seizure of 23,134 hallucinogenic pills, over 1.4 billion centimes, a prohibited bladed weapon, and a car. The suspects in both cases have been referred to the relevant public prosecutors to face legal proceedings.
