The judicial police in the wilaya of Mila have dismantled a drug trafficking operation, resulting in the arrest of two individuals. Acting under the supervision of the public prosecutor, the anti-narcotics squad launched an investigation based on information regarding a repeat offender selling illicit substances to local youth. Authorities successfully intercepted the main suspect and his accomplice, who hailed from a neighboring province. The police seized 374.53 grams of cannabis resin divided into four slabs, 20 units of various psychotropic drugs, several bladed weapons, and 17,000 Algerian dinars in proceeds from illegal activities. Following the legal procedures, both suspects were brought before the prosecutor at the Mila tribunal.
