Vaccine production: Saidal completes negotiations with Germany's Syntegon
Pharmaceutical Industry Minister Ouacim Kouidri has finalized negotiations with the German company Syntegon to acquire a vaccine production line for the public group Saidal. During a visit to Germany accompanied by Saidal officials, the delegation reviewed project milestones, specifically focusing on delivery timelines and production capacities. This project aligns with national goals to achieve health sovereignty and produce vaccines from the national immunization schedule domestically. Saidal aims not only to satisfy local demand but also to expand into African markets through UNICEF supply programs, while benefiting from technology transfers. The future production line will support partnerships with major international manufacturers. During his visit, Minister Kouidri inspected Syntegon’s advanced, fully automated manufacturing technologies.
