General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, conducted a working and inspection visit to the 3rd Military Region in Béchar. Upon his arrival, welcomed by Major General Noureddine Fodil, he paid tribute to the martyr Mostefa Ben Boulaïd at the memorial site bearing his name. Addressing personnel via videoconference, the Chief of Staff affirmed that Algeria remains a pillar of regional stability, committed to the principles of good neighborliness and respect for national sovereignty. He highlighted the vision of the President of the Republic regarding the intrinsic link between security and development in facing the challenges of the Sahel. He emphasized that Algeria acts as a core partner, promoting infrastructure projects and sustainable development to protect the region against terrorism and extremism. The visit concluded with a session listening to the concerns of the personnel, who reaffirmed their dedication to securing the borders and defending the nation.
