The electoral campaign for the upcoming local elections will commence on November 5th, confirmed Mohamed Lahcene Zeghidi, vice-president of the National Independent Authority for Elections. Zeghidi emphasized the authority's complete readiness to facilitate the electoral process. Candidate interventions on national television and radio stations will begin recording 72 hours prior to the campaign launch. On Thursday, a draw was held to allocate airtime for candidates across public media outlets. Additionally, representatives from political parties and independent candidate lists have signed the charter of ethics for electoral practices.
