Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Houria Medahi, chaired a coordination meeting focused on accelerating the allocation of land for tourism investment. A total of 362 plots have been identified across 26 provinces, with 150 currently undergoing development. The goal is to streamline investor access through the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) platform. Minister Medahi emphasized the importance of removing administrative and technical hurdles, while ensuring the legal protection of tourism expansion zones to foster projects that create jobs and contribute to local economic development.
