Since the beginning of the year, 1604 citizens in the Tébessa wilaya have received allocation documents for social housing plots, out of a total pool of over 5700 lots. Distributed officially on July 5th, this program aims to improve living standards and meet housing demands. The local housing directorate noted that while some beneficiaries have already begun site preparation, administrative processes are ongoing for others. Separately, local authorities in Bir El Ater successfully resolved a 14-year stalemate regarding the '711' social housing estate in the Ras El Aach area. By relocating previous occupants and finalizing land titles, the state has enabled beneficiaries to receive their legal deeds and begin construction work.
