During the "NAPEC 2026" energy conference in Oran, Sonatrach signed a memorandum of understanding with the Thai company PTTEP. The agreement focuses on identifying collaborative opportunities for hydrocarbon exploration and production, both within Algeria and globally. The partnership will also encompass cooperation in energy transition, technological innovation, and the enhancement of local content and human skills. Having operated in Algeria since 2002, PTTEP intends to deepen its long-standing strategic relationship with Sonatrach by exploring new joint ventures across the entire energy value chain.
