Algerian Real Estate Expo in Paris: A More Discerning Diaspora
The 5th edition of the Algerian New Real Estate Fair (SINA), held in Paris in October 2026, saw 10,500 attendees over three days. Despite a drop in visitor numbers, organizers reported a shift toward more informed buyers who prioritize architectural quality, long-term property management, and legal transparency over simple aesthetics. Interest remains concentrated on major hubs like Algiers, Oran, Mostaganem, and Béjaïa, with three-room apartments (T3) being the most sought-after units. The event focused heavily on professional development and urban planning seminars, despite the recurring absence of banking institutions. Looking ahead, organizers are planning to expand the concept to Montreal and London by 2027 to continue bridging the gap between Algerian developers and the diaspora.
