On the sidelines of the 28th Gas Exporting Countries Forum, the Algerian Minister of Hydrocarbons invited Azerbaijani firms to participate in the 'Algeria Bid Round 2026'. This tender, launched by Alnaft, encompasses seven exploration areas estimated to hold 1.8 billion barrels. Potential cooperation areas include well services, refining, petrochemicals, and staff training. The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to market stability through OPEC, OPEC+, and GECF coordination. The project timeline has been updated, with bid submissions now scheduled for January 2027, followed by contract signatures in March 2027, leveraging the legal framework of Law 19-13 to attract international partners.
