Algerian gymnast Kaylia Nemour has successfully defended her world title on the uneven bars at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Rotterdam. The 19-year-old secured the gold medal on Saturday with an excellent score of 15.333 points, building on her previous world victory in Jakarta last year. Nemour outperformed Germany's Helen Kevric, who took silver, and American Skye Blakely, who claimed the bronze medal. The Algerian champion is scheduled to compete in her final event of the tournament, the balance beam, this Sunday at 13:42.
