Capago Algeria, the agency responsible for collecting visa applications for France, has announced a temporary change in its payment procedures. Effective October 7, 2026, online prepayment for visa and service fees has been suspended. Applicants must now pay these fees in cash directly at the Capago center at the time of their appointment in Algiers, Oran, Constantine, or Annaba. Furthermore, a system of automatic appointment confirmation has been implemented, removing the requirement to pay in advance to secure a slot. All other application procedures remain the same.
