Algiers Opera hosts the debut of the International Philharmonic Orchestra
The Algiers Opera hosted the inaugural concert of the International Philharmonic Orchestra in the presence of the President of the Republic, state officials, and diplomats. Organized under the banner "Algeria… an immortal symphony" by the Ministry of Culture and Arts, the event showcased the country’s artistic heritage. Led by conductor Amine Kouider, the 70-member orchestra performed a three-part program featuring patriotic anthems, world classical masterpieces by composers such as Mozart and Beethoven, and iconic Algerian musical pieces. The maestro expressed gratitude for the presidential initiative behind this project, which was established following a Council of Ministers meeting to foster Algeria's cultural influence and symphonic development.
