Constantine forest fires: Accused reveals connection to terrorist "Amir DZ"

Abdelkrim Boutamina, a security manager at a company, confessed to his involvement in the forest fires in Constantine, acting under the direction of terrorist Amir Boukhors, known as "Amir DZ". According to statements broadcast by the Ministry of National Defense, Boutamina initially connected with "Amir DZ" on social media in 2023 while seeking to migrate illegally to Europe. The terrorist directed him to a contact named "Islam" residing in France, who promised to assist with his migration plans. This relationship led to criminal activity: following instructions during a phone call with "Amir DZ", Boutamina and Islam set fire to forests in the Oued El Hadjar and Djebel El Ouahch areas. The accused admitted that the motivation behind these arson attacks was a promised payment of 90 million centimes each, tied to their illegal migration scheme.
