Djen Djen Port Authority has concluded a five-day intensive training program focused on carbon accounting. The initiative aims to equip staff with the technical expertise required to conduct accurate greenhouse gas emission inventories, in alignment with the international ISO 14064-1 standard. The curriculum included training on identifying direct and indirect emission sources, calculating carbon footprints, and mastering reporting methodologies. Supervised by Dr. Ali Makhlouf in collaboration with the Excellence Management & Safety firm, the program is part of the port's strategic commitment to improve environmental performance and transition toward sustainable, data-driven port operations.
