Criminal network dismantled: 23 billion centimes recovered in tax fraud case
The National Security services have successfully dismantled a criminal organization involved in money laundering, tax evasion, and forgery. The operation led to the recovery of 23 billion centimes in illicit funds. Investigations revealed that the network utilized over 400 fictitious commercial registers to conduct simulated transactions, causing a financial loss to the public treasury exceeding 9,200 billion centimes. Authorities arrested 25 individuals operating across multiple provinces, and confiscated various vehicles, trucks, and forged administrative documents. The suspects have been referred to the specialized economic and financial penal pole in Algiers for further prosecution.
