Relizane: Civil Protection officers undergo search and rescue training with canine units
A specialized training program has been launched in Relizane to enhance the skills of Civil Protection officers in using trained dogs to locate victims trapped under rubble. Part of the General Directorate of Civil Protection's national development initiative, this four-day session focuses on improving the efficiency of search and rescue operations. Personnel from seven provinces, including Relizane, Saïda, and Tipaza, are receiving instruction from experts in canine handling. Through a blend of theoretical and practical exercises, the training aims to strengthen the operational readiness of rescue teams for major accidents and natural disasters.
