The Ministry of National Education has initiated a comprehensive training program for 64,000 newly recruited teachers across all three educational levels. The 400-hour curriculum, which balances theory and practice, is designed to prepare trainees for permanent status after one year of field experience. Supervised by inspectors and experienced educators, the program includes modules on classroom management, school legislation, and modern teaching tools. The duration of the training has been reduced from nine months to three, while maintaining the required total volume of hours. Attendance is mandatory; unauthorized absences will result in a delay of the tenure process. Meanwhile, education directorates are working to finalize the placement of new staff to fill vacancies and ensure the smooth running of classes.
