The Bejaia Provincial People's Assembly has concluded the fourth edition of its annual competition for the cleanest village and neighborhood. Aguemoune Nath Amar village secured the first prize, followed by the villages of Ziwi and Ighil Ntala. In the urban category, El-Houma Ouvazine neighborhood claimed the top spot, ahead of Tadarth Oufella and Tichy center. A ten-member jury evaluated participants based on cleanliness, heritage preservation, and the upkeep of green spaces. The awards ceremony also highlighted the contributions of civil society members and local volunteers, celebrating the collective effort to promote ecological awareness and sustainable local development.
