Trump eyes upcoming meeting between Putin and Zelensky to resolve conflict
U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would be arranged "very soon." Trump suggested that this initiative could generate significant progress in diplomatic efforts to end the war. This development follows calls from the Ukrainian side to revitalize peace talks. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the need for a renewed and accelerated diplomatic momentum. Additionally, Sybiha noted that Zelensky had asked the leaders of Finland and Norway to inform Putin of the urgent need for a ceasefire and a summit between the two nations.
