Ibrahim Maza reacts to Lionel Messi's recognition in Kopa Trophy voting

Algerian international Ibrahim Maza has shared his thoughts after being recognized by Lionel Messi in his rankings for the Kopa Trophy, which honors the best young talent in the world. Maza, who finished ninth, received a vote from the Argentine legend, placing him behind Barcelona duo Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí. Following his team's Bundesliga match against Stuttgart, the 20-year-old explained that he became aware of the news shortly before kick-off but chose to maintain his focus on the game. Maza described the acknowledgment from a global icon like Messi as a massive honor, though he expressed disappointment that it could not be celebrated with a win on the pitch.
