The Confederation of African Football has granted the request from USM Alger and the Algerian Football Federation to relocate their upcoming second preliminary round matches against The Panthers from Equatorial Guinea. Instead of playing in Douala, Cameroon, both legs will now be held at the 5th July Stadium in Algiers, allowing the team to play in front of their home crowd. The first leg is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, at 8:00 PM, with the return match set for Sunday, October 25, at the same time and venue. This adjustment offers the defending champions a significant advantage as they look to secure their spot in the group stage.
