Algeria Launches New International News Channel AL 24 News

Algeria's Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani, officially launched the new international channel AL 24 News in Algiers. The ceremony marks both the 72nd anniversary of the November 1st Revolution and five years since the establishment of the Algerian International Channel. The minister stated that the channel is designed to amplify Algeria's voice on the global stage and defend its diplomatic positions. He highlighted the commitment of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to media sector reforms, including new legislation for audiovisual and digital press, while urging national media outlets to actively report on the state's various development achievements.
