The funeral of Mohamed Ali Haroun, a veteran of the national liberation struggle and former member of the High Committee of State (HCE), took place at El Alia cemetery. The ceremony was attended by top state officials, including the President of the Council of the Nation, Azouz Nasri, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, members of the government, and revolutionary figures. In his eulogy, Minister of Mujahideen and Right-Holders, Abdelmalek Tacherift, highlighted the deceased’s significant contribution to the revolutionary press via the "Algerian Resistance" publication and his tireless efforts defending Algerian detainees before French courts during the war. Minister of Communication Mohamed Bouslimani also expressed his condolences. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune paid tribute to the late jurist and statesman, acknowledging his intellectual rigor and his historical contributions, ranging from his time in the Constituent Assembly to his career as a minister and high-ranking official.
