The Algerian delegation reached the Senegalese capital, Dakar, on Tuesday evening to take part in the upcoming Youth Olympic Games. Marking a historic milestone as the first time the event is hosted on African soil, Algeria is sending 41 athletes to compete across 17 different sports. This fourth edition of the games is scheduled from October 31 to November 13, featuring roughly 2,700 athletes from over 200 national Olympic committees. The competitions will be spread across three host cities: Dakar, Diamniadio, and Saly.
