Djillali Liabes University of Sidi Bel Abbès has secured a prestigious position in the Shanghai global ranking. It achieved the top spot in Africa and the Maghreb region for civil engineering, ranking among the world's top 201-300 universities. Additionally, in the field of mechanical engineering, the university ranked first in the Maghreb and second in Africa, placing within the 301-400 range globally. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, stated that this success reflects the ongoing dedication to enhancing the performance of Algerian universities and elevating their standing on the international stage.
