The Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, Omar Rekkache, met with the Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, to explore bilateral economic cooperation. The meeting took place in Doha during the 2026 World Investment Forum. Rekkache presented the investment climate and incentives available in Algeria to potential Qatari partners. Both sides also coordinated the upcoming visit of a Qatari business delegation to Algeria, aimed at identifying investment opportunities and establishing concrete partnership projects.
