The Arab Parliament has introduced a global initiative intended to unite parliamentary efforts worldwide in defense of Palestinian rights. During a Palestine Committee meeting, Mr. Al-Otaibi stated that the campaign aims to build a broad coalition to apply diplomatic pressure to end the occupation. Key objectives include supporting International Criminal Court processes, documenting violations, protecting detainees and holy sites, and ensuring the continued operations of UNRWA. The initiative also advocates for increased international recognition of the Palestinian state, unhindered humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the rejection of any displacement plans or territorial fragmentation. Emphasizing the urgent need for accountability, the Arab Parliament called on the United Nations to take concrete measures against ongoing settlement expansion and violence in the occupied territories.
