Constantine: Security measures taken at Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque following dome damage
A portion of the tiles from the dome of Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque in Ali Mendjeli, Constantine, fell shortly before Friday prayers, resulting in no injuries. The Director of Religious Affairs inspected the site, and prayers proceeded as scheduled, though the area beneath the dome was cordoned off as a precaution. Police and civil protection units arrived to secure the premises. Following instructions from the Wali of Constantine, a technical assessment of the structure has been ordered to facilitate necessary repairs and ensure the safety of worshippers, as discussed during a meeting with mosque officials.
