Boosting Agricultural Productivity: Algeria Collaborates with Scientific Diaspora

Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Sid Ali Khaldi, met with a delegation from the High Council of the National Scientific Community Abroad, led by researcher Elias Zerhouni. The discussion focused on leveraging the scientific and technological expertise of Algerian expatriates to modernize the agricultural sector. The two parties explored ways to use innovation to address climate challenges, improve yields in strategic crops, and enhance local seeds and livestock breeds to strengthen national food security.
