Oran: 36 families relocated from buildings at risk of collapse
Authorities in Oran province, in coordination with security and municipal services, have relocated 36 families from buildings classified as high-risk. These structures, officially marked in the "red category" due to severe deterioration, posed a significant threat to their occupants. The families were moved to newly constructed homes at the 200-unit site in Sidi El Bachir. The relocation project affected residents from several key areas, including buildings on Al Aqsa Mosque Street, Haouas Louafi Street, and streets within the En-Nasr, Emir, and El Mokrani municipal delegations. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to eliminate precarious housing, prevent accidents related to structural failure, and fulfill national directives to improve housing conditions and public safety.
