More than 200 families have been left homeless after a fire ripped through a camp for displaced people in Al-Shuja'iya, Gaza. Officials have strongly condemned the destruction of the tents, labeling the incident a war crime and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions concerning the safety of civilians. The occupation was held accountable for the ongoing genocidal campaign and the deliberate targeting of shelters, criticizing the lack of international intervention. In light of the escalating humanitarian crisis, urgent calls have been issued to the UN and global human rights organizations to break their silence and pressure the aggressors to stop the systematic burning and destruction of shelters for defenseless civilians.
