Algeria's participation in the international fruit and vegetable exhibition 'Fruit Attraction 2026', held in Madrid from October 6 to 8, resulted in the signing of eight memorandums of understanding to supply agricultural products to European markets. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, ten Algerian firms attended the event alongside the Algerian ambassador. Key outcomes include a three-million-dollar export contract for plastic packaging materials destined for Germany. Beyond trade agreements, the delegation explored global innovations in cold chain, logistics, and digital agriculture, effectively bridging the gap between local production capacity and international distribution networks.
