The Algerian U15 national team faced a tough 4-1 loss against Albania during the placement stage of the inaugural FIFA World Festival held in Baku. This setback follows the team's exit in the round of 32 against Guinea via penalty shootout, despite an impressive group stage performance that included victories over Argentina, Suriname, Chinese Taipei, and Malawi. As a result of the loss to Albania, Algeria will now compete for the 29th to 32nd positions in the Tier A final standings.
