The management of MC Alger has formally denied any ongoing negotiations with candidates for the position of sporting director, addressing recent media speculation. In an official statement released this Monday, the club emphasized that it is evaluating the appointment with due diligence to ensure it aligns with their long-term vision. This clarification follows the recent dismissal of former sporting director Amer Mansoul. The name of Reda Hammache, previously favored by former board president Hakim Hadj Redjem, had surfaced in discussions. Hammache had visited Algiers in August to propose his terms, with the file subsequently forwarded to Sonatrach. However, following the resignation of Hadj Redjem, the situation has stalled, and Hammache has yet to receive any official feedback regarding his proposal.
